Ganesh Chaturthi is a Hindu
festival celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and
Parvati.
Ganesha is widely
worshipped as the God of wisdom, prosperity, good fortune, and traditionally
invoked at the beginning of any new venture.
On 28th September, 2014
Witty World celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with lots of fun and
fair. Children enjoyed watching the story of Lord Ganesha’s birth and making
take way activities of Ganesh fridge magnets, hand made bags and colouring a
worksheet.
The importance of eco friendly Ganapati idols was also discussed with the children in detail.
Witty world reverberated
with the chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!!
