A new visitor came to WIS on Wednesday, 6 August
2014, to meet the children of Nursery section. He introduced himself as
"Mr. Ricky Rectangle".
He sang: Ricky Rectangle is my
name.
My four sides are
not the same.
2 are short and 2
are long.
Count my sides,
come right along.
1, 2, 3, 4.
He was happy to see his friends in the class which
were of rectangle shape. Children helped him count his sides and to name the
rectangular objects that they could see in the class. Mr. Rectangle had a
surprise for all the children, he gave worksheets to the teachers on which
children had to trace and colour the rectangle shape. Children were also eager
to show their rectangle shaped snacks which they had brought in their tiffin to
Mr. Recatangle.
