SAFE AND UNSAFE TOUCH
The
alarming rise in the number of child abuse cases calls for proper counseling
facilities, preventive measures and effective monitoring mechanisms in
schools.
Keeping
this in mind, WIS Primary Section, Grade III – IV organized an interactive
session on ‘Safe and Unsafe Touch’. The session was conducted
by Ms. Zeenat Bhagat from Elite, Human Skill Development Consultant Pvt. Ltd.
on Tuesday, 26th August, 2014 during school hours.
The
focus of the session was to make the children aware about safe touch, unsafe
touch and personal safety rules through a story telling exercise. Children
participated in these sessions enthusiastically, which ensured that they
are sensitized about Safe and Unsafe touch.
