Like the early morning sun
When the day has just begun
Y-E-L-L-O-W spells yellow
Yellow is the most
luminous of all the colours of the spectrum. It’s the colour of
happiness, and optimism, of enlightenment and creativity, sunshine and spring.
It’s the colour that captures our attention more than any other colour. To
reinforce and recapitulate the colour, Junior KG A and B celebrated yellow day
on 19th August 2014. Children
and the teachers came dressed in yellow coloured apparel. Children sang rhymes
on yellow colour and made awesome yellow magnifying glasses. Teachers and
children had an animated discussion about the various yellow coloured things in
the world, and then teachers drew them on the big sun cut out. The children had
a blast participating in the various activities, and went home with a yellow
smiley tattooed on their hands.
