Introduced underground vegetables (Playgroup) WIS, Bhilwara 19.09.2014

Root vegetables are plant roots used as vegetables, here root means any underground part of plant, root vegetables are generally storage organs, enlarged to store energy in from of carbohydrates. The little angels of Playgroup were introduced to underground vegetables, with a lot of exciting activities. The kids learnt that some vegetables grow under the ground like potato, onion, radish and carrot. The kids did the brown wash to make the mud on art sheet and then they did the vegetable painting with the help of onion and potato. The toddlers peeled the boiled potato and mashed it. Through this activity, little buddies could recognize underground vegetables.
