After
parents, teachers are the people who play a most important role in the child’s
development. Teachers educate the youth of society who in turn become the
leaders of the next generation of people. So, teachers certainly have a
significant mark on the development of young children and even older children
alike, as they help them develop their knowledge so that they can move further
in their life and be responsible.
On
Friday, 5 September 2014, Children of Pre – Primary section at
WIS celebrated “Teacher’s Day”. Children enthusiastically came to school, as
they wanted to wish their teachers and show their love and affection towards
them.
Teachers in turn had planned different activities for our little Wittians.
Playgroup, Nursery and Jr.KG
children were shown a movie on “Kung – Fu Panda” which shows an animated, but
an inspirable relationship between a teacher and his student.
A creative event named “Idea rocks” was
organised for the children of Sr. KG. “Idea rocks” is a poster making
activity. Children made posters which portrayed the love for their
teachers. Thus this was a wonderful opportunity for the children to
think, imagine and create things on their own.
The teachers were also equally satisfied to see the expression of love on the
faces of their little ones and felt honoured and blessed.
