Diwali, the festival which spiritually signifies the victory
of light over darkness, good over evil and hope over despair. Diwali also
known as Deepavali is one of the most awaited festival of lights.
With bright and shining decorations of Diwali round the
corner, Wittians at Bhilwara organized a raft of activities throughout the week
and celebrated Diwali with devotion and enthusiasm. Activities included mandana
drawing, wall hanging making, diya decoration, bandanwar making and lantern
making in various classes.
Diwali celebration was held in the school on Saturday 18th
October, 2014. Programme started with lighting of lamp and worshipping Goddess Lakshmi by Director, Mr Akin Chaudhary and Principal,Mrs Sadhna Mishra. Students presented speeches to inform the significance of Diwali
festival . Beautiful poetic drama based on Ramayana was presented. Students
made charts on the harmful effects of crackers and responsibly conveyed the
message of not to pollute the environment by burning crackers. PowerPoint
presentation was shown to the students based on harmful effects of crackers and
students shared ideas how to celebrate an Eco-friendly Diwali.
With religious fervor whole school exchanged Diwali gesture
and best wishes.
