Children are God's gift! And
childhood is all about innocence and liveliness. It is about happiness and
freedom. The Children's Day in India is observed on 14th November. This date
marks the birthday anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru - who was the first
Prime Minister of independent India.
As a tribute to this great man and
his love for the children, his birthday is celebrated all over India as Children’s
Day. On this occasion WIS Bhilwara decided to give a surprise element to the
students in the form of the movie show “Mary Kom” at Bioscope. Children enjoyed
the movie to the fullest. Throughout the movie they kept cheering for India. Glimpses
of smile on the faces reflected their actual joy.
