"Know Your Heritage" An Excursion Trip to Pink City-Jaipur by WIS, Bhilwara

A student who sees touches and smells historical relics, ancient artifacts and original sources of text becomes motivated to learn more in depth when he returns to the classroom. Educational trips stimulate learning beyond what textbooks and videos can provide to the learning environment. Excursions that are well-designed result in higher levels of academic achievement in every subject of study.

WIS Bhilwara arranged an excursion trip for Grade IV to VII to Pinkcity Jaipur. Students stayed at Clarks Amer for two nights and enjoyed a wide variety of cuisine. A visit to Jantar Mantar (Observatory), Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Temples (Govind Dev Ji, Birla Mandir, Moti Dungri), Zoo, and Albert Hall Museum was an enriching experience for the students. They had a fun filled evening at Chowkhi Dhani enjoying animal rides along with traditional Rajasthani food.

Students learnt in an informal setting on this educational trip that was directed by Central Adventure and Holidays Pvt. Ltd. and was supported by dedicated and enthusiastic teachers. This allowed all participants to learn with fun, which reached more students from various learning backgrounds and styles.
