Today the Wittians celebrated Gurupurab, to observe the 546th
birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikh religion. The event
was marked by the recitation of ‘Mool Mantra’ by the choir, which created an
aura of devotion and piousness on this occasion. Young orators anchored the
show and also recited a poem in Hindi to give the message of love and
compassion given by Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The choir chanted Gurbani Keertans (Holy
Hymns) and delivered informative speeches to throw light on the teachings of
Guru Nanak Dev Ji and his divine life.
