Field Trip to Haldighati at WIS, Udaipur

Tell me and I forget,
Teach me and I remember,
Involve me and I learn.
                   - Benjamin Franklin
Witty International School truly believes in the above quote. Keeping this in mind a Field Trip was organized for the students of Grade 3 and 4 to provide students with experiences beyond their everyday activities. The young Wittians were taken to Haldighati museum, situated in the Aravali Range of Rajasthan.
Students were told about the historical significance of the place as the Battle of Haldighati took place between Rana Pratap Singh of Mewar and Raja Man Singh of Amber, general of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. They also came to know about various rose products and the clay art of Molela.

Students enjoyed this fascinating experience which was a blend of excitement and knowledge.
