The GREEN
Olympiad is an annual written examination based on environmental science
initiated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in 1999 and attracts
participation from a number of school students across India and abroad. The
examination is open only for schools affiliated to recognized education boards
and educational trusts. Students of grades VIII, IX and X are eligible to
appear for the examination.
Wittians appeared for GREEN Olympiad examination 2014 which was based on the theme 'Environment and Sustainable Development - Issues and Concerns in our Lives' wherein Khushboo Malviya , Meenal Singhvi and Sujal Bolia stood first in school and got Certificate of Distinction and Neha Olla, Hiranshi Shah, Charya Shah Sonakshi Singh and Laxita Kumawat stood second in school and got Certificate of Merit from Ministry of Environment.
