Creativity and art is putting your imagination to work and it produces the most extraordinary result in human culture. This quote
was actually lived by the Wittians of Bhilwara who participated in Look and Draw and Drawing competition with a great enthusiasm. Students of Grade I to II
had Look and Draw competition and students of Grade III to VIII had Drawing competition
in the school. The aim behind this competition was to raise the student’s
attention about the close relationship between the given topic and its
surroundings.
Students
showed their creativity and independence of expression through their drawings.
They used their memory to recall what they know about the given topics such as
– portrait face study, historical monuments, Stroke shading etc. This
competition helped them to develop their skills using imagination and new
methods because each child‘s art is unique and follows a universal pattern of
development.
