World Children's Book Day observed at WIS, Bhilwara

We cannot experience everything… so we have books to know the people, places, power and politics of distant places.
International Children's Book Day (ICBD) is a yearly event sponsored by the International Board of Books for Young people (IBBY), an international non-profit organization. Founded in 1967. The day is observed on or around Hans Christian Anderson's birthday, April 2.
WIS Bhilwara took it as an opportunity to motivate students to read books. Students of Grade VII threw light on the significance of the day. They also presented a poem and briefed about famous writers of children’s literature.
