Secondary Section - Yoga For Healthy Living (2015-16) WIS, Malad.

“Yoga for Healthy Living”

True enjoyment comes from activity of the mind and exercise of the body; the two are united. To hail the International Day of Yoga, sessions were held at Witty International School, Ramachandra Lane, across the sections. A brief session on the importance of Yoga was conducted. Basic exercises and the Suryanamaskar was the start of the session followed by various sitting postures such as Vajrasan and Sukhasan. Further as the school observed the ‘Yoga Week’, a boost has been created through various charts, posters and articles. Presentation on Benefits of Yoga was done in the Assembly. It was an overall workout of the mind and body and students made it a journey of the self, through the self and to the self.
