Friendship Day is dedicated to the bond of friendship and companionship and is
celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year. The occasion began as a small event, to
commemorate the relation shared by friends. Today, it has taken the shape of a
grand festival.
This beautiful and valuable day of friendship was
celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara. A special assembly based on friendship was held in
the school. Students of Grade III presented wonderful songs and poems to show
their love towards their friends. Later students exchanged friendship bands and
greeting cards as a tradition of Friendship Day.
