Gardening Activity
Bring your rake and shovel, and the wheelbarrow,
Let’s sow a seed, and mark it with an
arrow;
Dig little trenches, and clear out
the weeds;
Sprinkle some water, and then drop in
the seeds.
Cover them well with the soil, be slow;
Now rake the top over and leave them
to grow.
Shine, merry sunshine, and fall,
gentle rain!
Tend to my plant until I’m back
again.
As
an extension of the letter,”G” concept Little Wittians of the nursery section
had a gardening activity scheduled for today. On this pleasant Wednesday
morning, they came to school with their seeds and little pots to sow them in..
They enjoyed the muddy experience and at the same time learnt how to use a
shovel to dig, how to sow the seeds and also how water, fresh air and sunlight
is important for their little seeds to sprout and grow. In all it was a fun
learning experience for these little Wittians.
