Banks are the backbone of the economic system of a country. A
developed financial system ensures authentic support to the economic structure
of the country and the society. The students of Grade X and XI (Commerce) loved
getting out of the classroom for a day and seeing more of what is behind the
scenes in a bank! Students learnt about borrowing, lending, e-commerce,
international banking and visualized various sections of the Banking System.
They also gained information of various types of loans provided by the bank and
also new schemes initiated by the government which has widened the role of
Banks in our lives. This practical exposure will be very helpful to the
students in the completion of their banking project as per CBSE guidelines.
