Odyssey Competition, WIS Bhilwara (08 to 11 September, 2015)

The four major skills of language learning, listening, speaking, reading and writing provide the right key to success.

In the globalized backdrop, good LSRW skills are the keys to unlock the doors to success. These skills help to build strong relationship and better understanding which are so vital in our personal and professional life. To be successful in any field one needs to know and understand how to communicate effectively. Students having strong hold on communication skills are considered assets for any school. Such students set higher level of standards and add value to the school set up.
Keeping this in mind WIS Bhilwara organized House Odyssey (English Language Week). Students took part in various competitions like debate, speech, reading, picture composition, extempore, poem elocution, paragraph writing, letter writing and listening activity. They were very enthusiastic about these activities which went through whole week from 8 to 11 September. Final round of debate and speech competitions were held on 16 September. The topic for speech was ‘students’ role in clean India’ and the topic for debate was ‘this house believes that life without modern amenities was better.’  Refutation round of debate was the most exciting one.
Principal Mrs. Sadhna Mishra guided the students and shared her views on the given topics.
