A special Assembly by students of Grade 3 to Grade 8
was conducted at WIS to pay Homage and respect to the Father of the Nation
Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Students were given information on the
importance of trust and harmony in our lives while being made aware of crimes,
atrocities, killings against men, women, children and nature. They sung bhajan “Raghupati
Raghav Rajaram” followed by various bhajans like Achyutam Keshvam, Vaishnav Jan
etc. They were inspired to adopt Gandhian virtues of non violence, love,
compassion and peace.
