Three little kittens, they lost their mittens
And they began to cry
"Oh, mother dear, we sadly fear our mittens we have lost".
"What! Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!
Then you shall have no pie"
On 9th, Friday, October, 2015 children
of Nursery section at Witty world enacted the Rhyme Three Little Kittens. Nursery
rhymes can be sung, recited, mimicked, and enacted.
Singing/ enacting nursery rhymes enhances a child's learning ability. Enactment makes the children more confident, and most importantly brings the poem and its characters come alive.
The excitement of dressing the part, and the joy of
re-discovering the poem through actions was evident throughout the class!!
