World Student' Day observed at WIS,Bhilwara (15.10.15)

“My message, especially to young people is to have courage to think differently, courage to invent, to travel the unexplored path, courage to discover the impossible and to conquer the  problems and succeed. These are great qualities that they must work towards. This is my                message to the young people.”                                                    -Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
If there is one man who is respected across all socio-economic strata of society in India, it is our former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. It was in the year 2010, when the United Nations decided to honor this 'great scientist' on his 79th birth anniversary and declared his birthday on October 15 as the ‘World Students' Day’.

WIS Bhilwara took this opportunity and organized a “Quiz” for students. The programme started with brief introduction of great scientist, professor, author and President, Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam. This quiz round helped students to test their knowledge in the areas of Science, Mathematics, Literature and Current Affairs. They have shown their enthusiasm and nearby all questions were answered by them. At the end, students paid tribute to their favourite leader by inculcating his message in their life that "Where there is righteousness in the heart. There is beauty in the character. When there is beauty in the character, there is harmony in the home. When there is harmony in the home, there is order in the nation."
