With the festive season approaching and today being the
last day before the Diwali Vacation, we Wittians took the opportunity to
celebrate Diwali. The students and the teachers both celebrated Diwali. The students
and the teachers both celebrated this event with a gusto. Assembly started with
enlightening of Diya and ensued by aarti. Choir sang a beautiful song and grade
VI presented a dance on ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ song. Children were explained that
the festival is held in honor of the Hindu Goddess Laxmi, who brings good luck
and wealth to the homes she visits.
