Witty International School
organized the opening ceremony of 5th Annual Sports Meet Synergy-
2015-16 on January 18, 2016 based on the theme “Think Big” in the school
campus. The opening ceremony witnessed with the arrival of the esteemed
dignitaries Ms. Sumitra Jat ( Ranji Cricket Player ) , Mr. Suresh Khoiwal (
Vollyball Player). The programme commenced with Parade and inspection of the
four houses Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz by the Chief Guests the school
marched past in perfect co- ordination, in time with the beats of the Brass
Band followed by the Oath taking ceremony. The Oath was administered by the principal
and the students solemnly pledged to uphold the spirit of true sportsmanship.
The chief guest thereafter declared the Meet open, amidst thunderous applause.
The events for the day included
100m Flat Race for Girls, 400m Flat Race for Boys.
While addressing the gathering the
Chief Guest said “It is overwhelming to see the participants‘s commitment and
involment”. They appealed to the children to grow through participation in extracurricular
activities.
