Basant Panchmi
‘Basant
Panchmi’ is the festival dedicated to Saraswati the Goddess of learning. It
also marks the beginning of the spring season. After the dry and snowy autumn
mother earth is blessed by the new blossoms.
Students of Witty International School primary section RCL, celebrated this day with a special assembly. The assembly started with Saraswati puja followed by a small skit to mark the significance of the day. Students of grade II welcomed this season with a song. The assembly culminated with the students singing the national anthem.
