is celebrated to strengthen the bond between the brother and sister.
WIS Bhilwara celebrated
the auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan
on Wednesday, 17th August
2015. The happiness of the festival was visible on everyone’s faces.
Students of Grade I to IV had a card making competition and students of Grade V to VIII had had rakhi making competition on this day.
Besides this, during special assembly students of Grade I & II presented beautiful poems and
speeches to convey the significance of the festival. Rakhi tying activity of siblings
was held. The whole idea behind conducting these activities was to increase the
appreciation and solidify the faith of young souls of WIS in this bonding
festival, where brothers and sisters express their internal feelings of love
and affection for each other through many sweet and meaningful external
gestures. The festive mood was infectious and prevalent throughout the day.
