When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the
world will know ‘PEACE’.
Its not the aptitude but the attitude which matters, WIS has
always been known for giving equal opportunities to all the students. Young
Wittians of Grade - IIA took up the task to spread the message of love, peace
and compassion through a special assembly, where they were given the
opportunity to reflect their feelings about peace and how it can be achieved,
to empathize with those who are underprivileged and promote peace within their
local communities. Students came dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Mother
Teresa and gave different messages on peace and harmony. Then a beautiful skit
was presented, where they gave the message that peace and nature go
hand-in-hand. To conclude, the choir of Grade – IIA presented a melodious song
on peace. Not only the students, teachers but the parents were also present to
motivate the young stars and were rapt and delighted to witness the show put up
by the students!!
