WIS has set a benchmark for conducting activities in such a
way that the students not only enjoy but also learn a great deal from it. With
the same perspective in view, the school organise a Debate competition for the
students of Grade- V.
The topic of the debate was –“Social Networks make people
less social”. The students spoke confidently on the issue and came up with
their perspective regarding the same. They cited reasons and supported them
with suitable examples from real life, to justify their stand.
Principal Mrs. Shubha Govil praised the efforts of the
students and addressed that such events help in developing essential skill of
public speaking and go a long way to boost the confidence of children.
The students and parents who were the audience of the show,
thoroughly enjoyed the event and couldn’t resist themselves from joining in the
competition. Parents were also very appreciative of the fact that WIS is
grooming the overall personality of the students through different ways.
