To commemorate the historical victory of our
Kargil War heroes and to pay homage to the martyrs of Indian Army, BSF and
other troops who sacrificed their lives during the 1999 Kargil War,Wittians of Grade-1
and 2 of Witty International School, Udaipur
witnessed and participated in a special assembly .The day started with a
melodious patriotic song sung by young scholars. Young students acquainted
their friends with the importance of the day when India successfully took command
of high outpost after 60 days of hard struggle.
They celebrated the Victory Diwas with solemnity
and dignity by tapping their feet on different patriotic songs.
Head of the institution Mrs. Shubha Govil
addressed that every individual should be proud of our soldiers who are
protecting our country and those who sacrificed their lives for us. Then after
the entire Witty family lighted candles in memory of the warriors as a mark of
respect to the departed souls.
