On 31st July, 2017 Monday children of Jr.KG
A and B of Witty International School, Udaipur went to Ashoka bakery.
They saw different types of breads, cakes, muffins
and pizzas. Children enjoyed learning about who is a baker? The teacher
explained a baker bakes cakes, muffins, pizzas and breads for us. He wears an
apron and a chef’s cap before he starts baking. He has a rolling pin to flatten
the pizza dough for making the pizza base.
They learnt that breads are made from kneading
the dough which is kept for proofing and then it is oven baked. Children were
shown various shapes of cakes, muffins, and brownies also the different types
of breads. They enjoyed the day at the bakery.
