International Mud Day
International Mud Day
observed on 29th June every year aims to connect the children of the
earth closer to each other. The best possible way to do it is through earth
itself. Mud is quintessential to the outdoors, that means fresh air and
exercise both of which are important for children. Playing in mud is good as it
helps to boost our immune system.
To
celebrate this day students of Grade 1 Witty World (Chikoowadi) enthusiastically
participated in ‘Mud Art’ a clay modelling activity. The students used their
creativity and made models of their favourite vegetable. They not only enjoyed the
show and tell activity on the topic ‘My Favourite Vegetable’ but the experience
also helped them to gain confidence and improve their public speaking skill
