Hindi the
official language of our country has a special charm that helps to make a
unique connection. The celebrations help to promote and propagate the Hindi
language.
Students
of Grade I at Witty World Chikoowadi celebrated
Hindi Diwas
with great fervor on Thursday 14th September, 2017. The day was
celebrated to
inculcate in the students the love for the Hindi language and also to get
knowledge on the importance of the day.
Students
enthusiastically participated in different competitions organized to celebrate
this day. They recited poems in Hindi, Some came dressed as mythological
characters to take part in the ‘Chehre pe Chehra’ competition while others came
well equipped with stick puppets which were effectively used for the ‘Story Telling’
competition. Handwriting competition ‘Sulekh’ a compulsory event was also held.
