September, 20,2017 students
of Grade III to VIII,WIS, Atun Road, Bhilwara visited a Printing Press of
Dainik Bhaskar located at Chittor Road. Students were shown different machines
like CTP i.e. Computer to Plate machine. They saw how the newspapers are
printed. Students also observed that the growth of science has brought
tremendous changes in the printing technology. Students also came to know that a printing press is a device
for applying pressure to an inked surface resting upon a print medium,
thereby transferring the ink. Typically used for texts, the invention and spread of the
printing press was one of the most influential
events in the second millennium.
Wittians met the Manager
Mr. Narendra and production who solved their several queries. This was not only
a new experience for the students but they also learnt a lot!!
