“Grandparents are a
bridge of love from past to present and into the future”. Grandparents are
important to children, they have patience and time when parents are often
busy. Witty World has always come up
with innovative ways of inculcating values in the children. This year Witty
World organized a unique event - “Raas Garba” to express love and respect
towards the grandparents. The programme spread over two days – 23rd
September and 24th September.
The event provided grandparents with an
opportunity to spend quality time with their grandchildren. Both the little
ones and their grandparents came dressed in beautiful ethnic attire, adding an
array of colours to the school.
Grandparents not only enjoyed dancing to the beats
of traditional garba
songs but along with their grandchildren captured the memories of this splendid
day at the photo booth.
Grandparents appreciated the efforts put in by the
teachers and left Witty World proudly wearing the “I love my Grandparents”
badge made by their grandchild and carrying memories of a life-time in their
hearts!!!
It was a weekend well-spent by all those who attended
the event!!
