It is a harvest festival and is celebrated in many cultural forms with immense devotion, fervor and cheerfulness. The festival is celebrated on 14th January and is possibly the only Indian festival whose date always falls on the same day each year with just a few exceptions.
Children in Witty World  celebrated the festival with great joy and gusto, they participated in the traditional Kite flying activity and also made and decorated their own kites . Chlidren participated in  cooking experience making til laddos.
Laddu of Til (Sesame) made with Jaggery is the festivals speciality.

Children were indeed in a festive mood that prevailed in the school throughout  the day!!
