A traditional tale is a story that
has been told and re-told for many years. Traditional tales are referred to as
fairy stories or fairy tales.
Stories play a vital role in the
growth and development of children. A big advantage of storytelling is that
listening to stories enhances a child’s vocabulary.
Children of Playgroup at Witty
International School Udaipur, enthusiastically participated in the Show and
Tell Activity based on the concept of –Traditional Tales.
They brought their favourite story book
& tried to narrate their favourite story.
A corner of the class was decorated
with big story book & cutouts of various stories, for story telling
activity. Even the teacher narrated the story of “Rover” to them by using a big
story book.
It was a fun frolic day for them.
