Rhyme Enactment Activity at WIS, Udaipur

Mary had a little lamb
Little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb
Its fleece was white as snow.
Nursery rhymes are important for young children because they help to develop an ear for our language. Rhymes help children experience the rhythm of language.
As they recite nursery rhymes they learn to speak with animated voice. It helps them to develop their early literacy and communication skills.
On Thursday 26th April, 2018 little toddlers of Nursery class at Witty International School, Udaipur enacted the rhyme – ‘Mary had a little lamb’.
Children came dressed as Mary, lamb  and teacher and enacted the rhyme very well, with full enjoyment.
The class was beautifully decorated with cutouts of Mary, school and lamb.
Children also did an art activity of sticking cotton balls on the big lamb cutout.
Children enjoyed the activity very well.
