International Mother Earth Day is
celebrated on 22nd April every year since 1970 to remind each of us
that the Earth and its ecosystems provide us with life and sustenance.
Witty International School,Atun Road, Bhilwara celebrated
‘World Earth Day’ on Saturday, 21st April, in the school campus with
enthusiasm in the presence of an eminent personality Mr. Mahesh Ji Navhal,
Secretary Jaldhara Vikas Sansthan, Bhilwara. He guided the students to maintain
a healthy ecosystem by reduse, reduce, rebuy and recycle.
The students depicted the agony that mother
Earth faces when we humans indulge in activities giving rise to pollution and
deforestation through a poem and a speech. They also gave a powerful message
that we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our
children.
