The Nursery section of Witty
World Goregaon East celebrated Blue Day on 17th July, 2018. It
was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the little ones. The significance of
blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities. The dress code of
the day was blue. All the children came dressed up in different shades of blue.
The classroom was decorated with blue balloons and different cut-outs of blue
objects. Children enjoyed playing with blue colour toys which they brought
along with them. Teacher narrated the story of ‘Billy’ and children did an
activity of parachute play using blue blocks. Early identification of colours
helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words which is an
important part of a child’s development. It was indeed a visual treat to see
the good effects of blue colour on our little ones.
