“Environment
Revolution Begins with Greening Motherland”
With the
intention to prevent environment and inculcate the values of environmental
safety in the students, Primary Section of WIS, Pawan Baug celebrated Van
Mahotsav on Tuesday, 3rd July 2018 creating awareness for the conservation of
forests and planting of new trees. Wittians of Grades I to V were involved into
various activities to celebrate this day and spread awareness about the value
of trees and its importance. On this day, students of Grades I - IV took a step
forward to save our planet by sharing slogans through their posters. Grade V
Wittians procured saplings to plant around in the school campus. Van Mahotsav
gave our Wittians an opportunity to learn how to be environmental
administrators for a lifetime.
Our ambitious little Wittians grappled with
the throes of adulthood this week by creating their own grown up presentations,
and that in its most classic form of posters. This activity not only emboldened
their creativity but presented them with a large, demonstrative medium in which
to display their talents and skills. The teachers, students, and faculty
were all able to enjoy some of the most creative outputs anywhere in the city
of Mumbai!
