National Senior Citizen Day celebration at WIS, Udaipur

'Old age needs so little but that little it needs so much'.
Throughout our history, older people have achieved much for our families, our communities and our country.
WIS celebrated National Senior Citizen Day to recognize the contribution of seniors to our families and our country. Although we love and honour the older members of our society every single day, it is the perfect opportunity to reflect on all their wonderful contributions to our society. They are key boosters of our economy and the demographic with the biggest voter percentage.
Today, on this special occasion, Grade VIII had an interactive session by a Senior Opthalmic Surgeon, Dr. Asha Khamesra. She is retired from R.N.T medical college and hospital, Udaipur. She shared her views about her precious life and work. She lead an active and fulfilling role. She motivated the students by sharing her experiences as a doctor, a parent and a grandparent.
Grade VI and VII also participated in an activity wherein they got to learn that how grandparents are addressed in different language across the globe.
