Red colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and
vitality. At Witty World
Goregaon East, on 2nd August 2018 Jr.KG section celebrated Red Day. The day started off with the colour red every-
where red dress, red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red cherries, here a
red………. there a red…..everywhere a red red. A day dedicated to the red colour was marked with children and teachers
dressed in different attire and demeanour of red. The class was decorated with red colour concrete
objects and flashcards. Children enjoyed painting the
magnifying frame and made a red magnifying glass using gelatine paper. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a
wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects
based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.
