The little Wittians of Pre-primary
section celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi festival on 12th September,
2018. Children came dressed in traditional attire and as part of the
celebration the kids were shown a short movie on Lord Ganesha explaining the
importance of the festival which was also a visual treat to the kids. The
Ganesh Chaturthi celebration sensitized the children and made them aware of the
importance of eco friendly ganpati idols by having a mock cremation of a mud
idol which dissolved imidiately vis-a -vis an idol made from plaster of Paris .
Overall, the spirit and enthusiasm of the festival was
lightened up with the shloks and the entire campus echoed with ‘Ganpati Bappa
Morya’ which created an exciting yet blissful environment.
