Inter
house Spellathon Competition at WIS, Udaipur motivated children to take keen
interest in enriching their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to become effective
communicators, WIS organised an Inter House English Spellathon Competition on
Friday, September 7th, 2018 for Grades I and II.
The
competition had four main rounds comprising various activities like picture
identification, unscrambled words, sound recognition, etc. The rounds like
rapid fire and buzzer created excitement among the participants for their
respective Houses. The event helped in making students aware of spellings and
usage of many unfamiliar words.
Emerald
House stood first, Ruby House and Topaz House stood second followed by Sapphire
House.
Undoubtedly, Spellathon Competition proved to
be one of the best integration of imagination, education, inclusiveness and fun
at school along with a purpose.
