It was Krishna’s birthday,
We celebrated in a special way,
Learnt a lot and had a great fun,
And made this pious day number one.
Saturday, September 1, 2018 was a special day at Witty Kids, R.C
Vyas colony, Bhilwara when Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna was
celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the tiny tots along with their
parents and friends. Dressed as Radha- Krishna, they all gave a traditional
touch to the entire celebration.
The school premises was decorated with handmade flutes, flowers
and jhoola hangings. Every corner of the school was depicting the traditional
classic tales of flirtatious aspects of Krishna’s youthful days such as ‘Birth
scene of Lord Krishna, Holding Goverdhan Parwat, and Kaaliya Naag’. Many
creative and effective activities were planned for the little ones i.e ‘Krishna’s
footprint Hopscotch, Solving the Puzzle, and Colouring Krishna’s Face’. The
excitement and enthusiasm was on peak when little Wittians and their parents
enjoyed eating ‘ delicious Pastries with feather and makhan matka designs,
matka shaped lolipop sticks, Shrikhand and many more. The day became a gala
time for everyone when they danced and did Ramp walk on the beats of Krishna’s
songs.
