‘Do not be overcome
by evil, but overcome evil with good.’
Witty Kids aims to
strike a balance between introducing children to a global outlook and exposing them
to our cultural roots. Keeping the festive
spirit alive Dussehra, the festival that signifies the
victory of goodness over evil, light over darkness and happiness over
gloom was celebrated at Witty Kids on the October 17, 2018 with a
lot of religious zeal and fervour.
The importance of
Dusshera was described to the students through an enactment of the dramatic folk Ramlila. The celebration marked the victory
of Lord Rama over the evil king, Ravana and reinforced the message of the
triumph of good over evil. Students dressed up as lord Rama, Lakshman,
Sita and Hanuman mesmerised the audience with their charming smiles and
presentation.
The festivity threw light on the
values of honesty, respect, humility and obedience, which are the core of the
epic story, Ramayana. Overall, the celebration was appreciated and enjoyed by
all.
