"Me And My Mother" Girls' Teen Talk session conducted for girls and their mothers by Dr Sangeeta Kabra (11.10.18)

“Mothers are the most important educators for their children.”

Talking to an adolescent can be a challenge. Sometimes mothers are fearful about saying too much, too soon. Some mothers feel, they don’t know enough to be a reliable source of accurate information. Keeping this concern in mind Witty International school,Atun road,Bhilwara organized  an awareness session “Me and My Mother” Girls’ Teen Talk for the girls of Grade IV to VIII on Thursday,October 11,2018. The session was conducted by Dr. Sangeeta Kabra, a renowned gynecologist and Obstetric.  In the session the speaker touched all associated topics related to the problems faced by adolescent girls with their mothers. Dr Sangeeta Kabra discussed different issues related to adolescence, puberty through power point presentation. She also explained the physical and psychological changes taking place in the girls of this age group. She emphasized on maintenance of good and healthy habits on diet, hygiene and to understand the psychological changes.

It was an interesting session where the FAQs by the girls and their mothers related to the topic were answered by the facilitator.
