Navratri Celebration@WIS, Udaipur


Nine nights of Navratri for Goddess Durga Full of Dance and Songs.
People worship her idol with flowers and prayers long.
Tenth Day is celebration time for victory of good over bad. Let us continue the same true spirit as blessing of Dussehra.
Navratri is a festival celebrated in India for nine days to honour mother goddess in all her avtars and the tenth day is celebrated as Vijayadashmi or Dussehra.
WIS, Udaipur celebrated Navratri and Dussehra with their little ones on Tuesday, 16th October, 2018.Children came dressed in colourful ethnic attire. Children were explained the importance of the festival through a story on AV slides. Children witnessed and participated in an special assembly where they were explained about worship of 9 different avtars of goddess Durga and the victory of good over evil through various activities like role play and drawing Ravan in scrap book and later enjoyed dancing on garba songs.

Children celebrated this festive occasion with great zeal. The atmosphere around was full of fun and enthusiasm.
