Diwali is here, Diwali is here
The festival of sound, when crackers and laughter abound,
When crackers and sparklers light up the sky,
When delighted children jump with joy.
Diwali is one of the India’s biggest festival. The word ‘Diwali’ means rows of lighted lamps. Diwali symbolizes the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.
With bright and shining decorations of Diwali all around, little Wittians of Witty International School, Udaipur celebrated Diwali with great devotion and enthusiasm on 3rd November, 2018, Saturday. Children came dressed in beautiful traditional attire. They witnessed and participated in a special assembly. Children were told about the importance of the festival through dramatic play where children enacted different characters as Rama, Lakshman, Ravana, Sita , Hanuman, etc. Little ones also tried their hands on making flower rangolies, diya decoration & cracker making. They also enjoyed watching Diwali slides as well as drawing beautiful Diwali scene in their scrap books.
Along with great fun children learnt a lot about the festival. It was an enthralling experience for kids, thus everyone went home carrying the message of love, peace and the joy of the festival.
