One of the joy and privilege of working with young children is to observe them how they play , talk, think and learn. Watching children gives us a real insight into their lives; their thinking, their emotions and their unique personalities.
So as to make little toddlers familiar with the concept of ‘Birds’ for Nursery an event “ Birds of a feather” was organized on Monday , 17th December 2018 in the school premises.
They were taught about birds and its various kinds with the help of different activities as to make them understand the concept well. The class was decorated according to the theme .
Children participated in many activities like shadow puzzle , bird gradation chart, sequencing of life cycle of chicken and bird puzzles in manipulative area along with their parents. There was a good synchronization was seen between the parent and a child .They enjoyed making and eating moong sprout bhel. They also learned that “We should not complain what we don’t have” through a puppet show. The program was concluded with the enthusiastic performance of Birdie Dance by the little toddlers.
Overall it was a fun – filled day which brought smile on everyone’s face.
